Settlement! $6 Million from Gatekeepers
February 15, 2014 - After more than 4 years since the Mantria Ponzi scheme was uncovered, the investors have a settlement with the Gatekeepers for $6.05M. Before you rush off and spend your 11 cents on the dollar, the Federal judge will need to approve the proposed settlement.
It is not clear how the legal battle ended between Mantria Receiver John Paul Anderson and the Investors' Class Action attorneys, so it is not known by this blogger how, if or any of the money will be distributed to the employees and creditors. >>Read more.
Finally, Receivership Close to an End: Fifteenth Quarterly Report
February 1, 2014 - Another $44,000 deducted from the Receivership last quarter to benefit the attorneys and administrators of Mantria. Now that the money is dwindling at a faster rate and moving closer to zero, the Receivership is trying to bring this farce to an end.
Receiver: Attorneys' Motions "Meritless", "Undermine", "Ploys"
November 10, 2013 - The Mantria Receiver appears to be baffled by the current set of motions that attorneys Patrick Howard et al are throwing at him. The Receiver was clear and to the point in his latest quarterly report as he described the motions presented by the attorneys for the putative class of investors.
Fourteenth Quarterly Report of the Receiver
November 9, 2013 - It took 9 months for the Receiver to communicate, but he did. The Mantria investors and former employees received a simple email with the Fourteen Quarterly Report of the Receiver attached. As the "advanced technology" of an email distribution list has been around for a very long time (>20 years), it is unclear why it has taken 3.5 years for this advancement to have been made by John Paul Anderson, but the Mantria victims are not complaining.
Receiver and Investors Continue to Fight Over Limited Funds
November 2, 2013 - As you all know, money for the victims will only come through litigation with the Gatekeepers and the limited funds available as cash on hand. The Ponzi Scheming Four (Troy Wragg, Amanda Knorr, Donna and Wayde McKelvy) are most likely never going to pay the SEC, so now the investors are going to fight over the limited dollars that remain.
Recent Video of Troy Wragg. Where is Amanda Knorr?
August 26, 2013 - In a video posted to his Facebook page, Troy "Yvonne" Wragg is featured beginning immediately at 0:08 and then at 3:08 where Wragg is on the roof of his home/office shouting, "Make some noise if you are excited to be here today." Later, he provides a welcome to shareholders of Yourvibe.com from the Chairman and CEO of the company. Amanda Knorr does not appear to be in the video, but maybe you can spot her.
Receiver's Thirteenth Quarterly Report
August 8, 2013 - While the Mantria Receiver, John Paul Anderson, chooses not to communicate with the victims through email or by updating his website, as it has been 6 months since his last email and 15 months since his last website update, Anderson is required by the court to provide a written update every three months.
Wragg Gives Business Advice and Other Wraggisms
June 1, 2013 - Good humor is difficult to find these days, but Ponzi schemer Troy Wragg is making it easy. While Federal Judge Arguello found Wragg and his gang (Amanda Knorr and the McKelvys) scammed more than $54.5 million “by egregiously, recklessly, knowingly, and shamelessly perpetrating a fraudulent scheme”, Troy Wragg believes he is an incredible businessman and should be giving business advice to his followers.
5280 Magazine Update on Mantria Ponzi Scheme
February 25, 2013 - An update appeared today on 5280.com. Here it is: "In June 2011, we revealed how a Denver man helped fleece investors out of tens of millions of dollars in "The Biggest Green Scam in America." The story investigated Wayde McKelvy, a lifelong pitchman and the rainmaker for Mantria, a Philadelphia company purportedly specializing in alternative energy. But according to a 2009 SEC lawsuit, the company was little more than a sloppily run Ponzi scheme. >>Read more.

Quote from the Federal Judge
August 5, 2011 - The judge found that Mantria had scammed more than $54.5 million “by egregiously, recklessly, knowingly, and shamelessly perpetrating a fraudulent scheme” that used “misrepresentations, omissions, and blatant lies to induce unsuspecting and unwitting victim investors to liquidate the equity in their homes and take out bank loans to invest in Defendants’ scheme, which was nothing more than smoke and mirrors.” Read ruling here.
