The Receiver has entered into a settlement agreement with Astor Weiss, Flannery, Granoff, and Krassenstein, and Plaintiff Touchstone and the parties expect to finalize the Agreement shortly.
John Paul Anderson has been negotiating with Mantria's former Chief Financial Officer Dan Rink to reach a settlement agreement and now the Receiver is "less optimistic that a settlement will be reached with Rink given certain complications Rink has encountered with resolving this matter globally, and the Receiver proposes to inform the Court by June 10, 2013 if no settlement has been reached between the parties."
Looks like Dan Rink was just using a delay tactic, which is typical and why these cases take many years. Remember, Rink is also a practicing attorney and he successfully wasted a few more months of the court's time. The amount of the settlement was not going to be much, so this may be good for the victims.
